Janell and her husband, Peter, live in West Salem. They have been a part of the community for over 35 years. Her family was active in West Salem Little League for many seasons. They attend West Salem Foursquare Church. Their three sons, all West Salem High graduates, are grown and reside in Oregon, Washington and Arizona. Their oldest son, Kyle, lives and works in Salem. Their two youngest are active in the US Air Force. Sam resides in Arizona and Riley in Washington. Janell and Peter enjoy spending time with their family snowmobiling, water skiing, camping and traveling. They adore being grandparents to a wonderful granddaughter!
Janell’s passion for real estate began in the early 1970’s in Albany, Oregon. She helped her dad, who was a realtor for over 30 years, at his office and with their family rentals. She learned a lot from him about true integrity, honesty and hard workmanship. She has taken what she learned from her dad and is creating a successful career for herself with HomeStar Brokers. Her husband, Peter, attained his Real Estate license in 2018. She has been in the Real Estate business for 20 years. Janell enjoys working with both buyers and sellers, helping them to achieve their goals. She is with her clients every step of the process. From the first meeting until after the close of the transaction she puts her heart into her job. She works closely with lenders, appraisers, inspectors and other professionals to help make transactions as smooth as possible.
